The Story So Far...

After the Ascendance of the Aer at the end of the War of Reclamation, the sundered world of Lunusia was reunited with the rest of the Endless Sea. The Aer, guardians of the mortal races, trapped the Wyrms, paragons of power and destruction, in divine cages that were held shut as long as the Aer remained in the spiritual realm. Thus began an era of balance and order with no interference by gods, good or evil. In the 300 years that followed, the kingdom of Darinia was rebuilt, and it prospered. It was a time of mighty heroes and kind smallfolk, wise kings and influential artists. Peace reigned over all and the people were happy.
In the Endless Sea, however, nothing good comes without a price. In the haunted land of Wardfell, an unseen enemy stirred. A powerful seal was broken and an an ancient army rose. Aided by legions of shambling corpses, this dark tide swept across Wardfell to the sea. Not even the largest mass of water could stand in this mighty army's way, and Darinia was taken completely unawares. Overnight, the city was destroyed. The citizens fled and those who remained were crushed. Their limp corpses joined the ranks of the dread army, which continued on its wretched warpath.
This was seven years ago. Those who survived fled to the nearby island kingdom of Adamas and, after being denied asylum, formed their own city just outside the city gates. This shantytown, New Darinia, is a pathetic reminder of what Darinia was. The glories of a lost age are not something easily forgotten, however, and the Adamants' apathy for the affairs of their fellow man spawned within New Darinia a feeling of resentment and sedition. A group of Darinians, led by a man named Quintus, formed a clandestine society endorsed by like-minded individuals within Adamas itself. Styling himself Speaker Quintus, he named this group the Wolfsblood Rebellion, after Wolfhart, the great warrior-king of old and commenced plans to conquer Adamas from within and use its resources to reclaim his lost home of Darinia.
You, the players, are Quintus's greatest tool in this venture. You are his soldiers, his infiltrators, and when need be, his assassins. The Wolfsblood Rebellion is counting on you to complete its mission, and you have not forgotten the glory of your old homeland. The rebellion has begun. Are you in?
